You need a valid government-issued photo ID such as a driver’s license, state ID, passport, or military ID. The name on your ID must match the name on your document.
No. North Carolina law requires the signer to appear in person before the notary at the time of notarization. This ensures the signer’s identity and willingness to sign are verified.
Currently, Lilyfield Mobile Notary provides in-person notarizations only. RON services are coming soon.

The state-regulated fee is $10 per signature, plus a travel fee for mobile service. You’ll always receive transparent pricing before your appointment. Please note: Apostille processing and loan signing services involve additional administrative time and courier handling, so they are priced separately. A detailed quote will be provided before scheduling.
Yes. We frequently provide mobile notary services at hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, and private residences. For these appointments, please ensure the signer is alert, willing, and has valid ID.
An apostille certifies that a notarized document is authentic and valid for use in another country. We help clients complete the apostille process for personal, educational, or business documents that will be sent overseas.
Same day and next day appointments are often available, but for real estate closings or multiple signature packages, booking 24–48 hours in advance is recommended to secure your preferred time.
